Sometimes the best addition is subtraction. By removing clutter and rearranging a room to focus on statement pieces and beautiful furnishings you can achieve a certain flow that works from every angle.
Working with an established home, the brief was to spruce it up on a tight budget. I wanted to keep the warm and friendly family feel to this place so removed a lot of clutter, including some dated furnishings and artwork, and created a layered, textured aesthetic by grouping hard and soft oriental furnishings against an understated colour palette.
